Workshops

Explore. Learn. Go Deeper.

There is always more to explore.

Urban Souls Workshops create space to step outside the rhythm of a weekly class and spend more time with an idea, practice, or part of yourself that you’re curious about.

Our workshops span the many dimensions of wellbeing and self-discovery—from meditation, philosophy, Human Design, breathwork, sound, energy, and subtle body practices to inversions, arm balances, movement, and the physical practice of yoga.

What connects them isn’t a single modality. It’s the opportunity to learn something new, experience something more deeply, and explore what resonates with you.

We bring together thoughtful teachers, practitioners, and voices with something meaningful to share—creating experiences that invite curiosity, conversation, practice, and real connection. Come because something interests you. Leave with something you can carry into your practice, your relationships, your work, or simply your everyday life.

Moon is the fastest-moving graha (planet) in the zodiac.

In our inaugural two-hour session we cover:

  • The Moon and its influence over our manas (the mind and emotional body)

  • The difference between a Full Moon and New Moon

  • How to identify your rising sign, rising Lord, and track its daily position within your chart

This series continues as an ongoing gathering, meeting once a month aligned with either the new or full Moon to discuss its effects on every rising sign.

Each session will embolden you with the knowledge of how each moon will affect you directly, practical rituals aligned with the transit, and the ability to read the Moon's movement through your own chart without waiting for someone else to interpret it for you.

Human Design

with Voula P

Date: Sunday, September 27, 2026
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM
Location: Studio – Practice Room
Price: $46

Human Design is a system that maps out who you are through your unique energy type, showing how you're built to take action, make decisions, and move through the world.

There are five types: Manifestors, who initiate and inspire; Generators, who bring steady, sustaining energy; Manifesting Generators, who move quickly across multiple passions; Projectors, who guide and see others clearly; and Reflectors, who mirror those around them.

Knowing your type is the first step toward living in alignment with your natural design.

Return to Yourself: An Embodiment Workshop
with Rebecca Fernandez

Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026
Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Studio – Practice Room
Price: $46

Have you been feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or disconnected from yourself? Maybe your mind has been moving faster than your body can keep up. You have been managing responsibilities, listening to everyone else’s opinions, and trying to make the “right” decisions...but underneath all of that noise, you are not quite sure what you need or what feels true anymore.

As summer comes to a close and September invites us back into fuller schedules and familiar routines, this workshop offers something many of us rarely give ourselves: a meaningful pause.

Return to Yourself is a 75-minute experiential workshop designed to help you slow down, move out of constant thinking, and reconnect with your body, your inner voice, and the wisdom already within you. Through grounding breath practices, intuitive movement, gentle somatic-inspired exploration, guided meditation, journaling, and community reflection, you will be invited to notice what is present beneath the busyness...and listen without immediately trying to fix, analyze, or judge it.

The experience will begin with an optional opening share, creating space to arrive as you truly are and gently set down the masks we often carry into the world. From there, breath and movement practices will help you transition out of autopilot and into deeper awareness. Moments of free movement and stillness will invite you to experience the contrast between doing and simply being, while guided inner listening and reflective prompts will help you explore the questions, emotions, and quiet truths that may have been waiting for your attention.

You do not need to arrive with answers, a clear intention, or any previous experience with yoga or meditation. Simply come as you are. You will leave with greater awareness of what you are feeling, practical tools to help you pause and reconnect during moments of stress or uncertainty, and an invitation to move forward with more clarity and self-trust. The goal is not to tell you what to do next...it is to create enough space for you to hear yourself again.

Intended Outcome:

Participants will:

  • Slow down and reconnect with the present moment.

  • Increase awareness of the relationship between breath, body, and emotions.

  • Experience simple practices that support self-awareness and emotional regulation.

  • Reflect on what is present beneath the surface of everyday life.

  • Leave with practical tools they can integrate into daily life.

  • Feel more connected to themselves and to the community around them.
